Southampton Star Lallana Completes Liverpool Switch

Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana has completed a £26m move to Liverpool.
The Saints star completed his medical last weekend and has signed a long
-term deal at Anfield.

The England international, who featured in all three of England’s group games at the World Cup, was the subject of two rejected bids from the Reds before the tournament in Brazil.

Talks resumed however, following his return from the summer spectacle, and a fee of around £26m was agreed.

Lallana, 26, will link up with former St Mary's team-mate Rickie Lambert, who also moved to Anfield this summer.

The ex-Bournemouth star is the third player to leave the south coast club, following the striker's departure and the sale of Luke Shaw to Manchester United.

Liverpool have also signed Bayer Leverkuen midfielder Emre Can and agreed a deal to sign Lille striker Divock Origi.
